About Me!

Hi! I’m Mira Carr, a third-year architecture student at the New Jersey Institute of Technology. I’ve always loved creating things and finding new ways to express myself, which is what first drew me to architecture. My interest actually started with Minecraft, where I spent hours building and experimenting with spaces. That curiosity about how design shapes experience never really left.

I am deeply concerned about sustainability and how design can work in harmony with the environment, rather than against it. I love the idea that architecture can make people’s lives better while also respecting the planet. Outside of school, I’m into graphic design, music, and all kinds of art, basically anything that lets me be creative.

When I’m not working on a project, you’ll probably find me at the beach, eating sushi, hanging out with my cat, finding a new arcade to play pinball, or just doing something fun to reset. I try to bring that same sense of play and curiosity into everything I create, because for me, design is all about exploring, experimenting, and finding joy in the process.
